This isn’t the post I expected to put up today but pure creativity comes so rarely that I wanted to share it with you good folks. What I mean by pure, is that this came completely out of the blue for me. There was no prompt that I can see. I first thought it might have been influenced by the piano music I was trying to play (Le Onde by Einaudi) but it seems I am in a different key. What am I talking about? Well I wrote another complete song. That means words and melody in this case because I can’t sing chords but those should be straight forward from what I have. Anyway, here’s the words:

The blue sky,
The mountain,
I see through,
my window.

The sparkling,
On short grass,
A frost upon
the land.

There’s snow,
snow,
snow,
upon the hillside,
There’s snow,
snow,
snow,
upon the country,
in my heart.

The sunshine,
Dropped leaves,
I see through,
my window.

We argue,
Over washing,
We argue,
Over clothes.

There’s snow,
snow,
snow,
upon the hillside,
There’s snow,
snow,
snow,
upon the mountain,
in my heart.

And I can’t help but think too bad,
And I can’t help but feel so sad,
And I can’t help but think,
We’re missing out.

The sunshine,
The dropped leaves,
I see through,
my window.

The sadness,
My heart feels,
When you,
Walked away.

There’s snow,
snow,
snow,
upon the hillside,
There’s snow,
snow,
snow,
upon the arrow,
through my heart.
